Fulfillment Hub USA – Voiding UPS Labels in ShipHero
This guide explains how we void outbound shipping labels and inbound return labels for UPS when they won’t be used. Voiding unused labels on time helps keep UPS billing clean and prevents unwanted charges.
Voiding Outbound UPS Shipping Labels
UPS outbound labels that will not be used should be voided within 90 days of creating the shipment.
Within the First 90 Days
During the first 90 days after label creation, you can void a UPS package label directly from ShipHero:
-
Open the order in ShipHero.
-
Go to the Order Details page.
-
Use the label/parcel options to void the UPS label.
This is the fastest way to cancel the label and avoid being charged for a shipment that won’t go out.
After 90 Days
Once 90 days have passed since the label was created:
-
The label can no longer be voided from ShipHero.
-
You’ll need to contact your local UPS customer service office to request that the label be voided or adjusted.
Voiding Inbound UPS Return Labels
UPS return labels that won’t be used should be voided within 24 hours of processing the shipment.
Within the First 24 Hours
During the first 24 hours after the return label is processed, you can void it directly in ShipHero:
